RKD circular irrigation system:

The Sturdiest Pivot.
The pyramidal structure built with galvanized steel angular profiles and the bolt-anchoring to a square concrete platform both provide RKD´s pivot a great sturdiness which allows it to be able to easily support the turning movements of the machine.

The pivot is water-fed through an up-going pipe and an elbow, both made of galvanized-steel of 8 5/8" (219mm) diameter.

It contains a 13-wires external collector ring, with an access ladder.

The standard free-height of this machine and the rest of RKD systems is 3,30 m, although it could reach up to 4,10 m on the extra-high model.

RKD Self-Propelled Standard:

It has been designed for irrigating in 2, 3, 4 or even more places without the need of working manually to lift up the spans and rotate the wheels.

The revolving central cart has two driving wheels, which are used for the circular functioning or for its removal, and this one is performed by rotating the wheels 90º once you lift the cart with the hydraulic group installed on it.

RKD Towable:

In addition to being automatically self-propelled for moving from one place to another, you can also tow this machine with a tractor and drive it from one plot to another; just by rotating 90º all the span wheels with the help of a hydraulic jack.

Monospan

The very best for small areas
This machine is anchored to a small concrete base; and its mini-pivot structure provides a cost-reduction on it. It is composed of a single span and a overhang which, including the end gun, can reach an irrigated radius up to 110 meters (3,8 Ha). It is ideal for covering small extensions and also to be installed on the non-covered areas between pivots already laid on.

Hose Lateral 2W or 4W

RKD Standard Lateral: Front-Advance Lateral Irrigation System

RKD standard front systems are suitable for irrigating rectangular or square extensions due to their lateral movement. The cart is mounted on 2 or 4 driving wheels and it is fed by a hose connected to one or several hydrants, according to the dimensions of the plot and the flow to be brought. The alignment system is performed by means of a furrow or a cable with touch-devices.

Revolving Hose Lateral

In addition to attaining the same movements than the standard lateral one, this system has the advantage of being able to cover twice the irrigating wideness than the former one. The cart of the Revolving Lateral System is equipped with 2 or 4+2 driving wheels which allow the machine to pivot when anchored to the foundation base, usually placed on the plot extremes.

Perpendicular Towable

Lateral Ditch Feed

Direct Feed From Flat Channel
RKD ditch feed lateral system feeds directly from a flat channel. On a 4-wheel cart, it is assembled a motor-driven pump group that sucks in the flow required. There are two versions: electrical or diesel. In the first case, you need a surface electricity cable that provide the power requested for the functioning; and regarding the diesel case you need a generating set to supply power to the pump and to the whole system (power drives,…)

Hippodrome System

Hippodrome System: RKD's Circular and Lateral Irrigation System

RKD Standard:
RKD Hippodrome Systems have been designed to irrigate square, rectangular and trapezoid-shape plots, making the turn possible by pivoting in one or several points, and they irrigate when necessary, without needing anchoring at the central cart. The pivot structure is assembled on the 4-wheel cart, and a hose feeds with water to the up-going pipe and the elbow, both made of galvanized-steel of 8 5/8" (219mm) diameter.
